geum urbanum (hot dyeing)

At long last, a plant I had never used, and found this summer at my parents' summer house (well, what used to be ...) : geum urbanum, also known as colewort.

I really like the "antique" look it gave to most of the fibers. Not the most surprising color ever, but a delicate hue for sure. Oh, by the way, I used the stems, seeds & remaining leaves.
