one little thing

Here's a sneak peek at something I've been working on ...

This one is a pincushion made of organic cotton twill on the outside, and organic cotton stuffing. The organic cotton twill was naturally dyed with Rhus coriaria (Sicilian sumac) & iron on one side, with Daucus carota (wild carrot) & iron on the other. The wool I used was naturally dyed with Osyris alba. And the gorgeous ceramic button was handmade by a friend in Canada, Laura of Sheppard Handmade.
